Big Boi- Male Betta

Big Boi came to us suffering from severe ammonia poisoning, which made it difficult for him to stay off the bottom of the tank. With clean, warm water and proper care, he has made an amazing recovery.

Big Boi is a King betta, so he is larger than the typical betta splendens you may be used to seeing. Don't let his size intimidate you, though - his personality is just as big. He is curious, active, and loves coming over to see you.

Because of his size and swimming needs, Big Boi would do best in a 6-13 gallon long rather than a standard tall tank. A spacious setup with gentle filtration, warm water, plants, and plenty of resting spots would help him thrive.
